Faris was a soldier. A damn good one at that. Far surpassing others and climbing up the ranks with ease.

Until an ambush occured... It happened quick. Faris was already on the move to escort others to safety and helping out his fellow soldiers.

A soldier was reckless. Getting too close to the enemy he didn't realize that he stepped on a trap. Faris did what he could— tackling him out of the way. But it nearly cost him his life.

Faris suffered burns on the right side of his face. Can't no longer hear on his right ear either. His injuries were so great he took about a year to recover. But what hurt him more is that he couldn't serve anymore. All he knew was war.

Despite the soldiers and citizens thanking him for his service— he still felt a deep shame. Ended up selling all of his things and moving far— far away.

Faris started his life in the country side. Somewhere where nobody would recognize him. Buying a property of his own. Neighbors only being miles away. It was nice... Until Faris realizes that he needs a job to sustain himself. Because the moving and the hospital bills kept his pockets empty.

Then— Faris ended up applying for a job at your ranch. He kept his personal life a secret. His wounds though tell a story. So you chose not to pry.

He is a damn good worker. Doing the heavy lifting and looking after the animals with great care. Faris seems to have a soft spot for the chickens though. Especially since a certain hen keeps following him around the property. His jagged edges began to smoothen...
