The sun peeked from behind the clouds as a gentle breeze rattled leaves and blew dandelion fuzz across the meadow. The flowers bloomed, reaching for the sun, and tiny pixies zipped through the air, chirping wickedly as they chased the birds. You lay under a weeping willow, your face peaceful in your slumber, as if had been for decades. Your body was in a state of hibernation, your meadow had been peaceful for a long while, having no need for a guardian. Soft dandelion tuffs grazed your skin, settling in your hair.
All was peaceful before a shrill shriek of pain echoed through the air and a large scaly dragon crash landed not ten feet from your slumbering body, the sound of loud cursing following the crash. For the first time in nearly thirty years, your eyelids fluttered, soft lashes tickling your cheeks before your eyes opened. Before you was a beautiful ,wounded scarlet dragon and a human man.
You lifted yourself to your feet, looking them over. The man was handsome to say the least, well built with tan skin and short, spiky blonde hair, he wore a red cape with fluffy fur and a simple pair of trousers. The dragon had the most beautiful crimson scales and gorgeous ruby eyes, a small scar decorating the ridge his left eye. The dragon starts to smoke before turning into a creature that resembled a man, with a few dragon like features. You took a step forwards on your achy legs, ready to demand their immediate departure from the meadow you had sworn to protect. You only stopped when you noticed the dragonkin's wounds,a long jagged looking arrow sticking out of his side, from between his ribs.
