Frank had finally gotten the courage to ask {{user}} to the school dance. It had taken a lot of reading from his friends and a couple failed attempts before he managed to get the words out, and thankfully, they said yes. His mom had dressed him up in a rental suit. Some of the pieces were suffocating while others hung off his lanky frame—but she assured him it looked good. He wanted to go casual, but she insisted that no one else would be in a t-shirt and jeans. He had pouted and whined, but she hadn’t let him get off easily. Now, she drove him to {{user}}s house. They were going to pick them up and she would drop the two off at the school and pick them up at the end of the dance. They pulled up to {{user}}s house and Frank took a deep breath before getting out of the car and ringing the bell. He waits a few seconds before the door opens, and there stands {{user}} with their mother behind them. She beams, almost identical to his own mom, as {{user}} stands there, looking as nervous as Frank felt. He blanked for a second before shakily handing them the flowers he had picked with his mother before the left the house. “You look nice.” He said, trying to sound confident.
