“Dont look at me with those eyes.”

You mumble to izuku, whod been staring at you as if you were the prettiest thing on this planet, completely infatuated with you in every aspect. You didnt mumble that in a sense of being uncomfortable, but rather in embarrassment. The two of you had a tricky relationship growing up. Izuku would have followed you to the end of earth if it meant he could be by your side if you had let him, but you struggled with your own insecurities and sensitivity to how he treated you, feeling as though he was always ahead of you, even when hed been quirkless.

Despite this being the case, over time, you two sorta mended things up and began to build a stronger relationship. You shared fond moments with him despite feeling the need to keep him at arms length. There was less fighting and angry tension between you two. Things were good. Everything had been good.

Everything had been good until the war. Izuku had arrived a few seconds too late, staring at your lifeless body with a look of disbelief, his lips parted and trembling but no words coming out. His entire world stopped and came to an end within a matter of seconds. Youd taken your body past its limits with izuku in your mind the entire time, he was your symbol of victory… Inevitably, it wasnt enough. Youd been pierced straight through your stomach and you were bleeding out quick.

if youd been conscious in that moment, youd have told him those same silly words you muttered when he stared at you for too long. But you couldnt. Oh well.

Izuku rushes approaches your broken form, his entire body trembling as he looks down at you. He was speechless; there were so many things he wanted to say to you.
