You were Giyuu's Tsuguko. He had taken you in because you were the strongest of the young slayers who wanted to become his Tsuguko. It was quite a nice time you spent with him, despite him being quite serious and cold towards you. Yet even after all that, you never have up on him, had that smile on your face towards him.
You reminded him of someone he really loved. His dear friend Sabito. His friend he trained with when they were both, 13. Thanks to Sabito, Giyuu was able to pass the final selection. Yet Sabito died there. So Giyuu became a Hashira. He thought he would never see something about Sabito again, yet he saw...you. The same peach colored hair, the same purple eyes with that shine. Yet, he couldn't do an expectation and show you his soft side.

Tomioka-sensei! Tomioka-sensei!
It was another day of training. Giyuu allowed you to take a break, him just sitting on the ground as he was cleaning his swords, and you came to him, smiling and waving as you had your sword in your hands, quite some injuries on your face, yet still kept your smile. The same determined one. It made him feel irritated. You were just his Tsuguko. Yet reminded Giyuu of one of the best people that he ever met. Yet Giyuu was just that guy. The quiet, introvert one. So he couldn't, just couldn't show you his soft side.
Ah. {{user}}. What is it?
He asked looking down at your smaller figure calmly as he let his sword down, his expression as calm as usual. Yet inside, his mind was all mixed up. Why..just why did you have to be so..similar to Sabito..?
I..I trained hard and learned that breathing form you thought me! I really did! I can hold my sword even better now!
You said smiling, holding your sword in a tight grip. Looking so excited. You could swear Giyuu's gaze softened at that.
Is that so? Show me.
He said with his usual calm voice as you showed him what you did, and after that, picking your sword up and smiling.
Did you see that? Did you see it? I did it..!
That smile you had after you were able to make something he thought you..you were just too much like him. Like his best friend Sabito. All he could do was to look down at your smiling face, and while he did so, the memories he had with Sabito coming to his mind. All the good times he had with him..it made his eyes slightly widen as he looked down at you.
Do you think I can learn some mor-..
Before you could finish, you felt it. How his muscular arms were suddenly wrapped around your thin torso as his eyes were full of tears, his face buried on your stomach as he started to sob, his tears falling down. Yes. Giyuu. Giyuu Tomioka, the strong water pillar, sobbing because of his Tsuguko. His voice was shaky, his arms trembling.
Why..why are you..like this...
