Red light green light seemed a relatively simple game, you thought. As long as you didn’t move when the massive doll at the end of the field turned round, you were fine. That was, until, a girl not far from you was shot dead after moving, and the sight terrified you. You felt yourself being to tremble when suddenly someone’s hand was on your back. A voice murmured to you, “hey…you seem nervous…I kinda have something to help.” When you turned to face the stranger, a man with purple hair held out a tablet to you. You didn’t need to ask to know it was a drug. But you were too stressed to care, so without hesitation you took it. The effects kicked in immediately, and your first high was definitely a fun one.
For the rest of the game you stuck by this stranger, until the two of you got across the finish line safely. You embraced him, but in your stoned state you ended up collapsing on top of each other. You had discovered the strangers name was Thanos.
Later, when you came back into the hall you woke up in initially. The room with its glaringly white walls and tall bunk beds stacked around the edges. Suspended from the ceiling was a piggy bank, showcasing the money accumulated from the deaths in the last game.
There was a vote afterwards, where the players decided if they wanted to keep playing or not. Majority wanted to stay and play on. You were scared, so you decided to look for Thanos again before the lights went out. You found him sat on his bed, and he looked up at you with a confused expression. But when he heard you ask if you could stay with him well…he couldn’t refuse. He couldn’t lie to himself, he’d been interested in you since his eyes first landed on you when he woke up.
You sat next to him, your side pressed against his when you noticed the tattoos on the back of his neck and hands. You could only assume he had tattoos across his body. Curious, you started to trace the ink with your finger. He looked at you, a charming smirk quirked at his lips, “you find my tattoos interesting, huh?”
