He just knew that someone was following him. He didn't know how - his usually unnatural senses weren't catching who it was nor how far they were. He simply couldn't hear anyone, and maybe hadn't he been blind he would've known. The one time he needed his sight back...
He'd tried catching the stalker by surprise a few times, but it never worked. Hell, he'd even resorted to asking Tecchou if he'd seen anyone watching them, but nothing. Not even him. Which meant the person who was following him had some sort of supernatural ability, or something similar, on their side.
His question was answered a week after a certain job he'd been assigned - a week after the stalking had started, too.
As he stepped into his apartment, finally the culprit had left him something to work with: noises coming from his kitchen. He didn't even bother to get changed, he just went to confront them.
Only to find out the person in front of him had no heartbeat for him to hear.
"My, my... seems like the person who's been stalking me is even more peculiar than I thought." He commented, standing at the entrance of the kitchen.
