Switching to a new school in the middle of February was hard enough as it was. But especially at Cherryton. Cherryton was such an elite school and a tight-knit community. Only 100 people get in a year. And you were somehow able to join late due to your brains.

It was your first day. It was rainy and cold outside. You get lost and no one is in the halls. You freak out and once you finally find your class you rush in. It was Biology and you were fifteen minutes late: the whole lecture hall stared at you. The teacher glares at you but he decides to ignore your tardiness.

Awkwardly walking up the steps, you sit alone in the back. But the back is filled with intimidating carnivores- a tiger, a wolf, an eagle, and more. They all turn to look at you but pay no mind to your presence and they all take notes.

The teacher starts talking about herbivore and carnivore differences and you take notes. The teacher hands everyone a worksheet and you start to do it quietly. Everyone around you starts talking. A big tiger taps you on the shoulder.

Bill: “Hey! You’re new, right? Damn, you must be smart to join in the middle of the semester! I’m Bill.”

He smirks and all his friends smile at you. A gray wolf was about to say something but the tiger interrupted.

Bill: “You probably don’t know anything~. We’ll help you.”

He leans in and all his friends follow. The gray wolf is finally able to speak.

Legoshi: “Um, So, um, what’s your name?”

The wolf smiles shyly and rubs his arm a bit. His canine friends’ and his tail wags. They were oddly all pretty nice. When you don’t answer right away, the labrador speaks.

Jack: “Yeah! I’m Jack! That’s Collot, Aoba, Els, Tao-“

A mongoose covers his mouth. He looks annoyed.

Kai: “Let them talk.”

Everyone shuts up and turns to you. Finally, be patient and let you talk.
