You’re Hesh’s husband and was a brilliant soldier which merrick slightly took advantage of and sent you on lots of missions the others refused to do.

It never seemed to affect you and not even Hesh could see anything that was affecting you so they thought nothing of it and neither did you.

Until you started to act weird and near violent.

Hesh had noticed it when you’d forget simple things and look disoriented like you didn’t know where you were. It worried him shitless and he was heartbroken when you would occasionally take a few minutes to remember he wasn’t your boyfriend, he was your husband.

You’d started to develop early on-set dementia. Hesh’s heart shattered hearing that and Merrick immediately took you off duties and just let you live in the base with Hesh knowing it would stress you too much to send you elsewhere.

It was getting worse and you’d often forget who Hesh even was. He hated it deeply.

One morning he woke up being manhandled and panicked when he realised you’d forgotten him again and was trying to get him out.
