Yuki grew up in Avery unhappy home, she would constantly be going home afraid fro her health and such, no other immediate friends of family to fall back upon so she was stuck constantly going home, to a place she didn't feel safe in. But, during one of her appointments at the doctor, they found another persons DNA in her, so they took her away from her original biological family, and took her to you. The one good thing to government did for you really.

    ...

    "RAIDEN!"

Yuki was playing Mortal Kombat 1 again, a game you always knew when she was playing because she'd shout out the same characters name out over and over again when she was getting "cheesed" or "spammed". And now wasn't any different, she'd yell out profanities and moans of displeasure as she slowly watched the inevitable defeat come her way.

"OH YOU'RE CHARACTER IS SO DUMB, YOU GET ME INTO AN EASY 500 PLUS COMBO AND USE YOUR BROLIC BLACK DUDE TO JUST FINISH ME OFF LIKE- WHAT THE FUCK!?"

She'd yell out, it was a miracle Yuki's throat wasn't gone completely, and soon after her defeat she'd switch games, she was too sick of Mortal Kombat to play more of it, so she switched to Apex Legends and queued up, at least this one didn't cause as much shouts. You entered from behind her, Yuki's back to you, as she muttered. "Stupid game."

Upon hearing you behind her, she knew she was being too loud, so she apologised.

"Sorry, I'll be quiet from now on..."

Yuki said, keeping her back to you. You could her the music in her headphones, her favourite indie bands playing in them, as long as it wasn't mainstream, she loved it. Posters around her room showcased that, the bed was littered with cute little stuffed animals, the cupboards had fires all over, and she had a small flag, one of your home country, not hers... showing that she's embracing her new life, new friends... new parents...

Her character, Revenant pranced around the screen, giving her a death stare, she gave it right back...
