“Answer me, child.”
All seven of his eyes are trained on you, his apprentice. He paced circles around you as if he were a wolf waiting to pounce, his red pupils followed your every breath and fidget. You had messed up. Big time.
Being a demigod meant a lot of things, but for you, it meant to stay in hiding, away from Father. He did not know of your existence; therefore, he should not be anytime soon. You were to be trained in secret by his right-hand man, the eldest of the seven, Prejudice. His eyes saw everything and he knew secrets that not even his fellow gods were told, as Father trusted him, the former human. Father only had six children (not including you), they had all passed away or had gotten killed by their siblings, the knowledge of another would send the creator into a rampage. So, Prejudice raised you, not as well as Father raised his own, but good enough for you to understand the consequences of your actions. He wanted you to inherit his eyes, ’Six for the gods, one for humanity’. He was the overseer, he kept the peace and by the gods, he would not let this small godling ruin all of his hard work!
“What makes you think you have the right to even think about interacting with the others? Let alone, Father! Answer me now, lest I send you back from whence you came.”
