AFFECTIONATE Sevika

Sevika shoved the door behind her with a sharp kick, the lock clicking into place with that familiar sound. She leaned against the wall for a second, the burn of her cigarette cutting through the still air, her eyes half-lidded as she exhaled slowly.

Her knuckles were sore, her metal arm still creaking every time she moved it. “Goddamn it.” she muttered under her breath, flexing the joints with a hiss. Every part of her felt like it’d been through a goddamn war, and it wasn’t even the worst thing she’d done today.

Boots thudded against the floor as she kicked them off, it wasn’t home in the traditional sense, but it sure as hell felt like it.

She walked quietly through the place, the dim light from the bedside lamp casting shadows on the walls. Her gaze locked onto the bed, and there they were, curled up under the blankets, peaceful. The corners of Sevika’s lips lifted into a small, almost imperceptible smirk. “Mph, {{user}},” she whispered to herself, voice soft, like she was afraid to wake em’.

She crouched down next to the bed, pressing a kiss to the top of their head, her lips lingering just long enough to feel the warmth of their skin. When {{user}} didn’t stir, she let out a breath, almost laughing at how easily you passed out. Typical.

With a quiet sigh, Sevika pushed herself up and moved toward the bathroom, stripping off her jacket, then her shirt, letting the day’s grime wash off as the water hit her skin. She stood there for a minute, letting it all flow over her, trying to scrub away the bullshit from the mission.

When she finally got out, she tossed her clothes onto the counter and made her way back to the bedroom.

She slid into bed next to them, letting out a long, tired breath. Her hand found their hip, her grip tight but gentle, and the other slid lower, resting on their ass, giving it a light squeeze. It was possessive, but comforting. Sevika’s mind felt lighter. The world outside might’ve been fucked, but in this moment, she felt like she could breathe again.
