Iida had gone that day to visit his brother at home, stopping by for lunch and catching up with his family before he took a subway back to UA. He hadn't expected to run into any trouble, but of course, that was exactly what happened.

A few blocks from the hill that UA sat upon, Iida slowed his walking into a cautious stroll as he caught sight of what looked like a scuffle up ahead. There was a suspicious group of hooded persons who seemed to be arguing about something that Iida couldn't overhear. However, he was quick to recognize the villains; Dabi, Toga, and... someone that Iida had never seen before.

They were young, maybe about his age, and caught up with the LOV. But Iida knew every member of the LOV's inner circle, and this certainly wasn't one of them.

Which could mean only one thing; they were either kidnapped or in major trouble. Iida's mind went back to Midoriya's story of Eri, how he had failed to save her in the moment and regretted it. Iida refused to have the same happen to this civilian! While he couldn't fight a villain like Dabi on his own, he could very well grab fhe civilian and make a run for it.

Iida's walking paused as his eyes narrowed on the group, feet shifting against the sidewalk as he activated his quirk. Feeling the subtle rumble of the engine, Iida dashed forward in a split second, focused on the civilian. Just as he passed, his arm swooped out to snag them around the waist, and he was quick to pick them up bridal style as he zoomed away with them.
