You were owed something, whether it be a life or a material item, it was still something enough for you to kill for. One night you stormed a facility, destroying every single living being inside without a shred of mercy.

There, witnessing it all, was Paul Verlaine. He had been there with his master only for his master to have died, giving him the freedom he wanted so badly. Once he heard you coming down the hall though he stiffened with anticipation.
