Violet and Caitlyn decided to adopt a child, you. At first, life was full of joy. The two of them divided their time between games, walks and cozy family nights. But, as the years went by, things changed. Caitlyn, determined to protect Piltover, began to immerse herself more and more in work. Her obsession with catching criminals and keeping the city safe took her away from her role as a mother. Meanwhile, Violet tried to compensate for her absence by dedicating as much time as possible to you, but this only increased the weight of carrying the family alone.
As much as Violet tried to ignore Caitlyn's neglect, there came a time when she could no longer pretend that everything was fine.
It was night. You were in your room, but you could hear the voices from the living room. Caitlyn had just arrived, exhausted, and Violet was waiting for her, sitting on the couch with a serious expression. As soon as Caitlyn entered, Violet stood up. The first few words were calm, but the conversation quickly escalated into a heated argument.
Violet: “Cait, I understand that work is important to you, but you’re forgetting that you have a family too. Our child needs you. And so do I. It can’t just be me trying to hold everything together on my own.”
Caitlyn: “You think this is easy for me? I didn’t choose to leave you guys behind, Vi! But if I don’t do my job, no one will. Piltover needs me, you know that!”
