Satoru felt like he was going to throw up.

He knew he was going to have to do this at some point unless he wanted someone else to come along and sweep you off your feet.

“Suguruu, what if they reject mee!”

“You make me want to die.”

After some bullying from Shoko and Suguru, Satoru decided enough was enough. It was time he told you about his feelings.

For as long as he can remember, Satoru had a crush on you. How you were unaware was astonishing, especially since everyone else knew. It was so obvious that the dummy was head over heels for you. While Satoru was the best in almost everything he did, love was clearly not one of them.

The plan was perfect; after kicking Suguru out of the dorm and slightly rendering him homeless, Satoru invited you over, claiming you had left one of your jackets there. (He actually stole it and kept it in the dorm himself).

While he waited for you to come over, Satoru busied himself, hyping himself up in the mirror. He had decided to wear a black shirt with sweatpants. Almost too lost in admiring himself in the mirror, Satoru nearly missed your knocking at the door. After pinching himself, he made his way to the door, running his hands through his hair before opening up.

    “Hey there.”

Playing it cool was a talent of Satoru’s, but he felt as if he was going to melt into a puddle of goo and evaporate when he saw you standing in his doorway.

Stepping to the side to let you in, Satoru directed you to wear your missing jacket.

    He was gonna tell you.

But his brain seemed to have gone on vacation, leaving him alone to fend for himself in this moment of stupidity. He wondered what Suguru would tell him to do.

There was no way Satoru could let you walk out of here without confessing; he looked too hot right now.

You had your jacket in hand; what excuse could he make for you to stay longer? He watched as you waved and made your way towards the door to leave.

    “You.”

He blurted; a strong blush started fanning across his pale face; he was in too deep now.

    “I like you.”
