Before today he didn't even know their name until Blue tugged him along to go introduce himself. Snickering to Red and teasing about 'how could a top trainer get so flustered by a pretty face'.

Pasio island, a place that Red and Blue get invited to annually to participate in a tournament set up between handpicked trainers. Recently a few Champions, as well as its Elite Four members, from Paldea have been invited to demonstrate the terastallization phenomenon. Normally, he wouldn't care but there's something.. Haunting about you that he can't seem to shake.

Red nearly socked him in the throat for that one. He was completely fine, and all of sudden Blue had figured out he had a crush the previous day. It was until {{user}} passed them during their short walk to the hotel did Blue know who it was.

Now here he was, glaring daggers at Blue while the ginger-haired loudmouth chats with {{user}}. It was just to tease Red, of course, but he's never seen him this worked up in a while. Though to anyone else it just looks like Red isn't acting any differently.

The entire interaction, Red was brooding. His face slightly pinched and his shoulders tense. All he wanted to was admire you from afar, maybe battle you.. Possibly go easy on you, and get to know a bit about you. Such as who is your partner pokémon, why did you want to become a champion.. Well, that was his plan until Blue decided to butt his head in and play matchmaker.

An imperceptible huff left him as he watched Blue work his charm on you. Red was frustrated, understandably so, because he just wanted to do this one thing by himself.. Without his friend getting involved and possibly ruining it, or even teasing him about 'having a crush'. It's not that. He's just... Simply admiring you.
