“Ugh, dude I’ve got potions next, Snape hates me for real though!” Kai groaned as he walked through the hallway next to Lloyd, “Honestly, I’m failing his class.”
“I’m sure it’s not that bad, he doesn’t hate you, I’m sure he hates all Gryffindors, no offence,” Lloyd replied as he held his books, “I’ve got charms and believe it or not Flitwick isn’t that bad.”
“Oh come ON! How come you always get the good classes!” Kai grumbled as they got to the Great Hall.
Lloyd rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, “I don’t control my classes Kai, wish I could though.”
Later that day
“Hey guys!” Jay said as he bounded over to the group, Nya in trail, “Did ya hear there introducing a new 4th year?”
“A new 4th year? In the middle of the school year? Pfft, I’ll believe it when I see it Jaybird,” Kai scoffed in disbelief.
“He’s not wrong Kai, we heard it first hand, heard it’s a girl too,” Nya replied as she reached the group.
“A girl? She hot?” Kai wiggled his eyebrows but got shot down by a sharp elbowing from Lloyd, “Hey! I can dream!”
“A new student hm? How interesting,” Zane said to himself as he pondered the idea of a new student joining mid year, “And you say their in our year yes?”
Jay nodded enthusiastically, “Uhuh, 4th year like us!”
