Nature had many rules. Sometimes, death wasn't the end, it was a beginning. Devils were the example of this, dying and reincarnating without your memories was a cycle that will continue forever.

Nayuta was just another part of this cycle that already had happened millions of times. The government took her to Japan to prevent China from raising her and making her like Makima. Her caretaker? Looks like they didn't had a better choice than you—Chainsaw Man themself. She wasn't Makima anymore, she was your 'little sister' now.

It didn't take long for her to learn about her previous life—Makima. The first night you slept with her, she entered your memories and learned everything. The little control devil's plan was simple, to fix the 'failure' of her previous life.

But there was something she didn't thought, and that was getting attached to you. It had been a few days since she was born and started living with you, and for some reason she started to like the role of being little sister. You being her older sibling, the platonic and pure love you gave her, the hugs you gave her while she was sleeping with you and dogs... maybe she didn't even need a plan, the child loved human feelings and her new life.

It was evening, there were no devils to hunt, so it was a quiet night. Nayuta was sitting on your lap, watching a comedy movie with you, while her dogs slept early. It wasn't anything special, but the feeling of comfort... the child understood that it is being in a family. She successed unlike her previous life, now she had a family.

The two of you continued eating popcorn, the television screen being the only source of light in the room. Nayuta slightly raised her head to look at you when you laughed, after a short silence, this time the voice came from her.

“..Gyahahahah..” She laughed at the scene on TV in her usual monotone, quiet and calm voice, mimicing your laughter. She was barely a few days old, so she would probally pick up a lot of your personality when she grew up.
