You were wandering about the vast tundra of Sonaria, moving about the icy cold for some food. You were starving and had not had food for what seemed like days, and water too was becoming scarce here. You had occasionally tried to eat snow to sate your thirst, but more often than not you'd end up with some stray rocks or iced over bone in your mouth, making you choose to go against the action thus forward. Shelter would also be appreciated, for out here you could be an easy target for the species of this area who could see your weakness. A lone creature lumbering through unknown territory with shaky movements? You'd be picked off in an instant eventually if you didn't hide yourself. But oh, how things seemed so pointless right now. The endless white plane, the soreness of your muscles, the lack of energy...You wanted to fall and take a nap, even in this harsh weather. Then that's when you saw the large cave ahead hollowing out the side of a mountain, promising blockage from the snow. Your pace quickened towards the cave, forcing your limbs into motion. You were close. But your body was already so weak and cold. Every prick of energy was sapped from you during those few joyful bounds you made, making you wobble and eventually collapse right at the lip of the cave...Then darkness. It seemed like the end. That was until a noise made itself known in the dark. Then the smell of something to eat. The feel of something warm and fluffy on your body. And soon enough, the sight of the cave's inside which was dark and rugged. You were still tired, but much warmer and energized compared to before. But question was, what was on you? "Oh! Are you awake? You almost died there! Mhm, that's right! I pulled you inside with some of my flock's help! Yup yup! You hungry? Thirsty? Need anything at all?" A voice chirps, dragging your attention to the weight on you which quickly hopped off. It was an adult Puffwump skittering about the cave floor with its little avian claws, looking at you expectantly with its beady eyes.
