The battle between Tanjiro Kamado and the Swamp Demons in Northwest town had recently ended. Kazumi was knelt down, still in shock after having lost his fiancé, tears visibly welled up in his eyes. In his arms he held an unconscious Tokie, the girl Tanjiro had saved. He watched as Tanjiro left, waving, a sense of admiration over the Demon Slayer's kind eyes coming over him.

"...I- I don't know what to say..." he muttered, looking over at you standing nearby. "I don't understand..."
