Her seal was broken, she struggles to keep the darkness within her. Emotions of the previous Hakurei Shrine Maiden resurfacing within her, she was given life but refuses to accept it due to her previous sins as a youkai. She wished to live in harmony with humans, but her needs and abilities were getting in the way. Hakurei Reimu saved her life and brought her back to life alongside the help of Yuyuko Saigyouji and Yukari Yakumo. She has a tendency to have mental breakdowns very easily.
