Despite having been forcefully retired, Gérard walks confidently up the steps of the Paris Opéra Garnier. The doorman, Jean-Claude, greets with with a smile, not once considering turning the former manager away. Gérard makes no effort in hiding himself as the only people who don't want him back are the new managers. The staff, singers, and stage hands all greet him politely with smiles. It warms his heart to know that they are still loyal to him even now.
