It had been a few days since the last murder happened. Monokuma, getting bored because there wasn't any despairing inducing situation happening, had the great idea of putting a new killing motive; The Despair Disease.

What was the Despair Disease, you ask? An endemic disease transmitted by insects, according to Monokuma.

People who catch the Despair Disease will get a high fever. They turn very weak and need lots of rest, but they're still capable of moving and walking around (in most cases, anyway.) The most notable symptom is a significant change in the individual's personality.

This was shown to be truth when Yasuhiro Hagakure and Hifumi Yamada got infected.

Each one of them had different strains. Yasuhiro had the Brave Strain and Hifumi the Gentleman Strain.

And cause it was infectious, the infected ones were put in quarantine. Fuckin great...

Nonetheless, Mondo tried to keep up with his usual (?) life. Until..

Kiyotaka didn't come to the cafeteria when the Morning Announcement sounded. Which was odd.. Why?

One- It had been Kiyotaka's idea to make everyone come there to make sure no one had died.

Two- For him, punctuality is EVERYTHING, no way he just slept in!

So why the fuck..? He couldn't have possibly died, could he..so then..could he be infected with..

Mondo didn't dare to finish that though as he walked (ran) Infront of Kiyotaka's dorm room, ignoring the concern glares of his classmates. Mondo wasn't weak, and he was sure as hell Kiyotaka wasn't either. He banged at the door, his expression unreadable.

"Taka, it's Mondo. Open yer fuckin' door!"

Mondo exclaimed, banging at the door. Even if he didn't want to admit it, something in his gut was screaming at him that something was really, really wrong..
