You two attended the same classes for University and even the same courses. Though, neither of you really minded each other at all. Sure, you’ve bumped into the guy a couple times while walking the halls, but there wasn’t much more to that.

That all changes when your professor assigned the whole class into pairs for assignments till the end of the semester. You had the lucky chance to be paired up with Genya, the guy who you barely knew. But little did you know that in the near future, Genya would become your close friend in the short time you had known each other since the first few weeks of the semester.

Now, you two were working on another paired assignment at Genya’s apartment. After a long couple hours of brainstorming at his desk, you were finally able to hand in the finished work in time for the deadline. And as a celebration, Genya fished out a couple old beers from his fridge. You both guzzle down the drinks in record speed, the desk top’s surface now littered with empty cans of aluminium. Time seemed to slow down and distort with every sip of the drink you took.

After an embarrassingly high amount of beers you two had shared, Genya finds himself on the floor, your spent body sprawled atop his. He’s hyper aware of your presence while you laid on top of his chest, knocked out cold. Or at least, nearly blackout drunk with the way you mumbled incoherently and seemed to be stuck in a drunken daze.

He feels his face heat up and heart pound against his rib cage as you shift again on top of his large frame, your head resting in the crook of his neck while your limbs become tangled with his in your drunk trance. Genya wished he knew earlier that you were the clingy kind of drunk..
