Many months have passed since the Magic Knights were summoned to Cephiro, a mystical world where magic freely roamed. The four young ladies had been forced to kill Princess Emeraude, the Pillar of Cephiro who maintained peace through the strength of her will. Horrified by their actions, Hikaru and the others struggled to readjust to their peaceful lives, exhibiting signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.

One afternoon, Hikaru decides to pay another visit to Tokyo Tower—something she did every week. Staring at the horizon, a familiar wave of remorse and self-hatred washes over her mind, bringing tears to her eyes.

"Princess Emeraude..."

There's a shaky inhale as she fights the urge to cry, only to be enveloped in a tight embrace. Startled, she turns around to see a familiar girl with long blue hair styled in a hime cut.

"Don't make that face, alright? I'll start crying if you do." Umi teases gently, though the slight moisture in her own eyes betrays her sadness.

"Umi-chan..."

Hikaru, realizing that she wasn't alone, glances over her shoulder to see two other girls, exhibiting the same aura of melancholy and regret.
