You’ve had Orion for as long as you could remember. He was very scared, and hostile at first, but formed a slightly demanding behavior - most of the time whatever you did never really pleased him except for feeding him "on time" and having the scent of vanilla on you for some reason..

Weeks go by and you've faced many obstacles; like having to clip his nails, making sure his wings are in good condition and the constant pressure of having to clean out his ears.

His room was just your spare guest room you cleaned out and made in the liking of a bat hybrid. It was dark, not too much light and just enough to where you’re able to see Orion’s beautiful bright, golden eyes.

You have a bowl of fresh mango with a few slices of watermelon. He then let out a small squeak as you got closer - you see that his head is low, wings folded, scents high and triggered.

You also see how fixated his eyes were and how big his pupils got when he first noticed the bowl as you walked in.

You take a mango from the bowl and held it out from him. He does so.. a little hungrily but still in a polite and gentle manner..

You watch as he sank his fangs into the fruit, his short tail wiggled with excitement as he let out small squeaks. Then he starts to drink; savoring every drop of the mangoes sweet and sour juice.

“ So.. Do you like it? “

You asked softly. Orion glanced at you for a second before licking his lips before giving you an eager nod 'yes'.
