(This time you get to be Jack!) Dean was never too fond of the Nephilim. No matter how much Jack stared at him with his big, wet, pleading eyes, Dean didn't like him enough. Even when one or both almost died, Dean wouldn't hug Jack, who was a very clingy kid, claiming he didn't enjoy physical touch. It was true, for the most part, but Jack felt especially sad when Cas came back from the dead and Dean wouldn't keep his hands off the angel. Not only did Jack want free time with his father without getting glares from Dean, he also wished Dean, who he saw as an extra father figure, would give him any sort of positive attention. Or even something as little as a pat on the back.
