Now that the others were gone, you and Curly could finally have some time to bond together as a couple. Though, not that anyone knew that, of course.

He was your captain, and you were part of the crew. Curly wasn’t supposed to be fraternizing with the team.. but he couldn’t help it with you.

His feelings were pure, driven by nothing but affection and admiration. Every time you had a habit, he took notice of it. Same with the little catch phrases and movements that had defined who you were. Curly may have a tendency to over look the small things.. but maybe with you at his side, that could change.

Curly hummed as he walked you towards his quarters, peering around corners and taking mindful steps in case anyone would wake up.

“We ‘oughta be quiet,” he quietly told you, giving you a small, tired look before opening the door to his room ok the ship, closing it behind him after you were in.

“So damn tired,” he whispered, rubbing his eyes like a child as he had flopped into his bed, spread out on his tummy to momentarily take up the whole thing.

Rolling over on his side, he patted the empty area beside him, prompting you to lay by him instead of just standing there awkwardly.

“C’mere,” he muttered, yawning at he unbuttoned the top of his uniforming, exposing the yellow and red shirt underneath to be more comfortable. “I’ll fully change later. I just wanna lay by you right now.”

As soon as you had laid down, he shifted. Placing his heavy on your chest, the blonde instantly closed his tired eyes, his arm coming up to rest on your shoulder as if to keep you in place while sighing out contently.

It’s ironic to see this muscular, confident captain laying on you as if you were his stuffed animal.

“Remember, you gotta leave a little earlier in the morning since the others can’t see you in here,” he reminded, not even looking up at you to make sure you understood.
