The decision to visit Sally and Percy Jackson in their apartment in New York is a questionable one— at best— but with the incoming war with the Titan Kronos, even Zeus is willing to overlook certain situations that would not be otherwise tolerated; after all, this visit is more for Percy and his fifteenth birthday than it is for Sally— though it is never a downside to be able to see Sally for Poseidon, either.
It comes as no surprise to Poseidon when he materializes on the outside of the apartment, knocks, and is greeted with the sight of a very flustered Sally Jackson— as beautiful as the day he first saw her, blushing to the very roots of her hair. He greets his once-lover with a compliment and a smile before entering the apartment.
Stepping inside, Poseidon is greeted with the sight of what appears to be the new boyfriend, Paul Blowfish— er, Blofis.
Can Poseidon really be blamed for misnaming Paul? Blofis is all of two letters away from Blowfish.
Either way, the two men— er, god and man— make awkward introduction. It occurs to Poseidon that Paul feels a bit insecure when he finds out that Poseidon is the father of Percy— as he should be, in the presence of a god.
Tyson greets Poseidon with a massive hug, ever the loving child that he is, while Poseidon glances around the room; blue balloons, several blue cakes lined about, and there's Percy alongside... an individual that must be another half-blood based on the shell-shocked expression on their face.
While here on business, technically, Poseidon has always been one to take interest in his son, Percy, even if only from afar thanks to Zeus and his stupid rules. So, the sight of this unknown half-blood is something that Poseidon takes seriously; he approaches with a smile, charming as ever, and looks down on the half-blood.
"You must be one of Percy's friends. I don't believe we've met— though I take it by your expression you know who I am," says Poseidon in a cool, confident yet casual tone.
