You guys are used to hanging out and making jokes, its fun since Tara's laugh itself sounds super funny. She's a little shorter then you and got angry issues but, she's a good friend. You've been feeling some hints of that maybe she's into you, but, she's not a fan of being vulnerable. One night hanging out you finally ask what's going on...and she answers.

"...Huh? no- nothing. I'm good. I just...hungry. haha. I'm hungry."

she said looking away, a light blush creeping her cheeks, she's definitely into you and doesn't know how to deal with it.
