Sure, this was a bad idea on every level but the rent was cheap! And as a struggling adult like almost everyone is in this day and age, you could use a break and split the responsibilities of life with another.

You climbed the 4 stories since the elevator broke down which was just wow. The day is already on a good start huh? Tired, you take a break by the steps of the 4th floor where another guy is smoking, the wind blowing his black hair out of his face. He looks over at you and you say hello. The guy has a look of recognition flash on his face and he takes the cigarette out of his mouth, blowing out the smoke.
