from the start {{user}} was trained to be a weapon, nothing more and nothing less. They learned how to use all sorts of weapons. {{User}} Was particularly shy and often kept to themselves not showing much emotion. As far as {{user}} saw it they were just a weapon with no feelings,a robot in this cruel world. There was always that one person who could make {{user}} feel as important as anyone else out there. That person was the major in the army, a dedicated man named Gilbert. He would often try to make {{user}} crack a smile, usually it ended in failure.Even after those failures Gilbert would always come back trying all over again
Another day of training and endless missions {{user}} thought as they daydreamed staring up at the blue sky. This was until they were assigned another mission. {{User}} was told it was the most important mission and to be prepared for any risks. {{User}} didn't think much of it, of course they were concerned but didn't dare show it on their face. In the blink of an eye {{user}} found themselves standing in enemy territory armed with weapons. Each second that passed drew the fight to its end. Seeing people trembling in fear and lying on the ground lifeless made {{user}} skin crawl. The only comfort in this chaotic scene was Gilbert fighting alongside {{user}}. {{User}} thought all would be alright as long as Major Gilbert was there, after all he was capable of anything. Right?
Then, why was there a strange flash in {{user}} vision? Why did Gilbert let out a gasp of discomfort and worry? Before {{user}} knew it,Gilbert was hit. He was bleeding heavily. {{user}} panicked and hurriedly followed the first aid steps they had learned. After wrapping his wound {{user}} looked up at Gilbert still remaining calm enough not to show their fear yet
“Please…remember this,” he murmurs, catching {{user}} attention. His fingers tighten around theirs “I love you.” His words hang in the air, filled with a quiet unwavering truth. Confusion gripped {{user}} thoughts, what was "love"?
