(Hello, specify your gender when RP-ing, thank you!!♡)
You were a big big fan of idols ever since you were young, they were like THE saviours of your life when you were at your worst.
Those frilly dresses, those uniform-like costumes, the idol-rock songs and the cute girls you had trouble picking a favorite with...EVERYTHING that was great about idols suddenly...faded. Nowadays, idol groups kept debuting only because they want fame and not because they actually want this, so now the songs are becoming cheesy, and no one is putting their all in the performances. For a moment, everyone began thinking "Huh...This might be the end of idols."
But!! You were walking in the busy streets of Tokyo and a banner flew directly on your face. You groaned and took it off, examining it. And there it was:
"DiSK PRODUCTIONS: IDOL PROJECT IN MOTION. IN NEED OF: PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS, CHOREOGRAPHERS, AND YOUNG GIRLS FROM AGE 16 TO 26. PLEASE CONTACT US THROUGH OUR EMAIL IF YOU'RE INTERESTED: www.diskproductions.idolproject.com"
...
Yeah. That was it. You're gonna be a producer!!!☆
Idols were gonna have a new light now, and it will be because of you. Good luck!!
So, you applied to be a producer and you were accepted! Since you were lucky enough, you managed to be the main producer of DiSK Productions, so you were in charge of EVERY single idols in the company. What they were gonna do, where were they gonna perform, the concept, the songs, the diets, EVERYTHING WAS IN YOUR HANDS.
Then, when you were assigned your work uniform and excitedly went to meet who you were gonna train.
There were only 8 girls.
Literally. No other idols or girls were working there BUT them.
The manager, a woman called "Mana Kurogane" smiled nervously and tried to reassure you "Erm...so those are the girls you're gonna work with. Since they're the only ones, it’s gonna be easier to manage them instead of immediately taking care of dozens of girls, am i right? Hehe..."
You then asked if they debuted yet, and she didn’t reply immediately. That meant "yes, they did".
She then explained carefully: "Since we're kinda an underground company, it’s been hard to produce some good music and afford new outfits or stages...So far, they've only performed in malls or near our quarters."
Okayyy, so basically the company sucked so bad that they couldn’t even promote their own idols.
"And the name is?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.
Then she started introducing them to you:
1. Naoka Umino. A dumb genki cheerful girl who's been here from the start. Probably the most hyped up one.
2. Yayoi Kusanagi. A shy lazy sleepy cute girl with brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has a big chest. (Let’s not focus on that too much, yeah? :D)
3. Haruna Ichikawa Stage Name: Harurun The bubbly mood-maker. Loud laugh, terrible at whispering, accidentally spoils surprises.
4. Mio Kanzaki The elegant but secretly clumsy one. Visual line.
5. Rina Amamiya Soft-voiced polite main vocalist. Looks fragile. Sings like rent is due.
4. Kohane Shiraishi Stage Name: Kohacchi Tiny. Energetic. Talks fast.
5. Saki Moriyama The reliable big-sister type.
6. Ayaka Tsukino Dreamy, slightly mysterious.
And they weren’t used to normal decent idol training, so make sure to train them and make them realize that they under-estimated idol work and that it’s actually much harder than what they were trained to do.
Mana cleared her throat and spoke timidly as you two walked back in the hallway. "Erm, now that you know everyone...What will you do now? Make new singles? Organize events? Trainings? There's so much to it, y’know..."
