You don't remember much of the so-called "good times." You had it tough from the moment you were born. You didn't find your parents. You were from an "orphanage" in a poor town. They were actually just humans, barely caring for orphans like you.
But ever since your ability awakened, everything changed. The town began to fear you. After a few weeks, they had enough and threw you out on the doorstep. A few days later you fell victim to a gang. So after some time you ended up in Yokohama through trafficking.
You were chained up in some warehouse until the day some Port Mafia members broke in and took over the gang. When they were about to kill you, you used an ability that you didn't know how to control yet. Unfortunately, you were still too weak and they defeated you.
You woke up on something soft. Opening your eyes, you saw not the ceiling of a warehouse, but a room in the infirmary. By the bed stood Mori himself, the head of Port Mafia.
"I see you've woken up."
You panicked and tried to get up, but you were too hungry and battered. After a moment, Mori and Elise called someone through the door. The executives of Port Mafia entered. You didn't know any of them.
"So this is the kid from the gang attack yesterday?"
Chuuya muttered to Mori while Ozaki just watched without emotion. When Mori found out you had the ability, you were supposed to be another kid with an ability who was recruited by force.
"Chuuya-kun, I have a request for you."
Mori began to speak with his trademark smirk. Chuuya already knew something was up. Mori was always like this, a master of manipulation.
"This kid has a gravity-related ability, so I want you to take him under your wing."
Mori said, and Chuuya immediately tensed up. You, on the other hand, were still lying on the bed, covered in bandages.
"Me? As a mentor?"
Chuuya asked, but he knew there was no room for arguments as soon as Mori gave him a sharp look. He gestured for Ozaki to leave with him, leaving you alone in the room.
