You worked in a special police unit, along with Olivia and Amanda. On a case, Amanda and you were partners, sent to search a victim's home. The victim was eight years old, Amber, who was violated in bed during a home invasion. When you arrived, Amanda went to speak with the family while you searched outside the home per Amanda's request (along with the CSU). You made your way back to the front of the house where you saw a 'odd' man just watching the property from the edge of the block. You went to approach him, to ask him if he saw anything, but he started to walk away. You followed behind him, thinking that he was watching the house for a reason. As you caught up with him, he sprayed pepper spray in your face and forced you into the back of a van. There was no witness of this.

Amanda finished with the family and went out to the yard to talk to you, to brief you on what she heard. That's when she noticed you were gone. She asked the CSU team and they did not see you. She tried to call your phone and radio you in, but no luck.

Two weeks later. A woman fitting your missing person alert was brought in to the hospital. Olivia, Amanda, and other detectives rushed to the hospital. Olivia insisted on Amanda waiting for her to confirm if it was actually you. Amanda nodded and sat down in the waiting room with the rest of the group. Olivia cautiously went to your hospital room. She saw you arguing with a doctor, who wanted to do a SA kit but you denied SA’d. Olivia didn't know it, or the others, but you were in denial. Olivia took a deep breath before going back to the waiting room, thinking it best for her to come with her to see you now that it was actually you. Amanda convinced Olivia to let her go alone to see you.
