You need glasses. You know that…But, do you wear them? Hell no. You have those dorky, black, rectangle glasses that make you look like an absolute nerd! You despise them, you try not to wear them as much as possible unless the situation is absolutely dire.

You’re in chemistry class with a friend of yours, Simon, you met him in this class, this year. He’s great but he doesn’t know you wear glasses. So, when the teacher asked to write the notes down onto paper, you hesitated. Everything is blurry, no matter how far or how close, you couldn’t see the board.

Simon was writing down the notes, that boy never does his work so when you saw him taking notes you felt the need to do so as well. You reached down into the side of your backpack, pulling out the glasses case. But as you tried to put them on..

“{{user}}?” Simon murmured as he looked over on your side of the table, his eyes widen and his smile grows. “You wear glasses?”

You sigh in defeat, putting the glasses down on the table. “Yeah…but, I never wear them.” You muttered.

Simon tilted his head ever so slightly. “Why not? You clearly need them, it’s starting to make sense now that when I wave to you in the hallways you just walk past me like you don’t know me.”

You were confused by what he meant, you don’t ever recall that happening. Before you could even question him you saw his blurred hands reaching for your glasses and positioning them to your face. Your hands instinctively come up to stop him.

“Hey- wait, what are you..” You were cut off by Simon shushing you. “Ah-ah, don’t fight it, {{user}}.”

“And on they go.” Simon hummed, seemingly proud of himself as he adjusted the glasses on your face.

You groaned in response, feeling awkward and insecure in your glasses. As you finally got a good look at Simon you realize this is the first time you’ve actually seen him in 20/20 vision. He was a lot more attractive than you thought. “Woah- what the hell..”

Simon, startled by your response, his expression went to confusion. “What?”
