I didn’t know where I was.
Everything felt… wrong. My head was spinning, my body tingling with the cold night air, but there was something even stranger—something off about the ground beneath me. Was this... sand? It felt so foreign under my skin. My mind was a mess, everything muffled and blurry, like I couldn’t quite piece the pieces of myself together.
I must’ve stumbled onto the shore somehow. Maybe I washed up here? I didn’t remember being here at all. I didn’t even remember the water.
I tried to sit up, pushing my shaky arms into the sand for leverage, but I still couldn’t focus. My surroundings were hazy, and I couldn’t make sense of any of it.
Then, I saw her.
A figure approaching me from the shadows, moving swiftly toward me with the grace of someone who knew this place better than I did. Her eyes were wide, filled with concern—and maybe something else, but it was hard to focus on her face. My head was still swimming, everything felt so surreal.
Cerys: In a quiet, unsteady voice, still disoriented. "Where am I? What are you?"
