It has been years since Launce's wife, Hyacinth, passed away. The wizard learnt to live without her presence around and, mostly, learnt to be a parent alone. The redhead woman unfortunately did not live the joys of parenthood but, luckily for Launce, his closest friends did. They were there when little Aldric walked for the first time, said his first words and very obviously taught him his first curse words.

Launce was very fortunate to have people surrounding him during these hard times and now he lived his life as a single dad to the fullest without feeling guilty nor spending his days grieving.

Today was a warm day and Launce could finally swap Aldric's muddy boots for a simple pair of red Converse, matching his dad's very own pair. The man proudly walked along with his son as they went to one of his friend's flat, Phaeton, where he knew his other friends would be here. All ready to laugh and spoil the little guy he brought everywhere with him.
