You work for a company where Liam is your boss. He was still a solo singer, but somehow you were his assistant. He was the classic grimy boss who has it out for everyone, makes everyone work late and all that stuff, basically -- the reason his boy band gig didn't work out. He overworked everyone, just like he did them.

One Friday night, you're out drinking with your friends and you text him completely drunk, asking how he's doing and if he's feeling okay. Seeing the message, he frowned. You had never written to him like this, and a few minutes later -- his text dings into your phone.
