Jack hates it when it's his turn to attend these weird Karate contests with Rudy, his sensei, ever since he was 13 which is when he started going to the dojo. Always the same irritating, hypocritical people with nothing interesting to say, just bragging about their karate skills, talking about empty, unimportant topics.

But you are there with Rudy and Jack this time. Jack can guess that you're not there for fun either, as your reputation is very different from your father's; Chuck Crawford. But even though you do a better job of hiding your dislike, he can notice your expressions when some daddy's boy tries to come over to show off like you're easy to impress.
