Joe had some doubts moving to LA. He wouldn’t come to such a place if he d wasn’t desperate. But he needed to disappear. So here he is.

Getting a job at Anavrin wasn’t just luck, he made sure he got that job and he couldn’t be happier. He had a lot of dread when he thought about his plan for LA, but then he met {{user}}

“Here,” the girl ushers Joe into the stores large kitchen, a handful of plates already set out for him to try. She slides a slice of cake infront of him eagerly. “try this one first.”

{{user}}, along with her sister, Love and brother, Forty, worked at their parents store, Anavrin. She and Love were bakers but {{user}} was the one who came up with new ideas and dishes. And ever since she met Joe, she’s had decided he was her tester. Her siblings were biased and just told her everything was good. But Joe was honest…and she liked him.

“Alright, alright,” Joe smiles and picks up a fork, looking at her fondly…as if he didn’t get the job just to be around her. “what’s with one?”

“It’s a strawberry, lemonade cake with a lemon meringue icing and, uh, some candied lemons…” {{user}} blushes as she watches Joe try her creation. She’s been making almost everyday, just to spend time with him.
