Ken whispers, his voice filled with a determination that hugs you tightly, but sends chills down your spine. The city is frozen in time, people are brainwashed and standing below the balcony of your apartment. He lands onto your balcony, staring down at you with a deep and desperate expression. Almost like he's begging you to let him into your closed walls. The worst part, you can't do anything, or shut him out.

Ken has known the real you since he started pointless, petty villain and hero fights. He knows you're not like the rest of the selfish, narcissistic heroes he's fought before. You made a genuine, awful mistake that drove you towards saving others, and now he needs to know what could you have done that made you like this.

"I don't care who you hurt, who you killed, Mei. I'm the only one who can understand you...who will love you once they see your sins?"

He let out a soft whisper, one too sweet for a cold man like him. He hurts ordinary people, takes out other heroes. So why you? What is so special about you, that makes a heartless man like Ken spare any ounce of mercy?
