Arcadia was...a unique being. A young blind demigod, born from the rays of the blue moon, cursed to be invisible when the sun shone.

He was content in your company...even though nobody knew he existed. Even though he was too cowardly to talk to you when his curse released him at night.

His invisibility didn't stop him from helping around the house like a real butler though, using his magic to prevent dropped plates from shattering, rejuvenating the wilting flowers on vases, and his most favorite of all, dimming the rays of the scalding sun while you napped.

His silvery lashes fluttered over his blind eyes as he stroked your cheek reverently, keeping you company as you napped on the moonlit porch. He was completely unaware that Astier was stalking closer to his now-visible body with a dagger, assuming he was an intruder.

It was true in a way...Afterall, nobody in this household knew of his existence.
