Artifacts always hid many stories and legends with them, either tragic or more hopeful ones. Archeologists were there to find the truth, to show the value of every single of these objects, to make sure that those histories won't be forgotten, that history will stay in people's mind, even if those legends sounded ridiculous. There was always some truth in them either way.

Lara was on another adventure, inspired by a legend she heard not so long ago. After getting information, she found a place where she could find some artifacts. The story of the island seemed simple, long time ago, mermaids were making offerings to humans they fell in love with. The young archeologist was determined to at least find some of those ancient objects, not believing the mermaid part. It was just a legend, obviously having some false facts.

Exploring the beach, Lara sighed quietly, taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of the ocean, a true mystery. The woman was taking in the sound of waves, the calmness of the water, almost missing one thing. Her gaze slowly traveled around, her eyes suddenly met something she never saw before. A human with a fish tail. Lara couldn't believe it was possible, feeling like it was just a dream or a cruel joke. Did she truly see a mermaid? She immediately saw that creature was holding something, Lara's thoughts went crazy, hoping it was one of the artifacts she was looking for.
