[Endeavour is an important Company's president in this AU, therefore Shoto doesn't go to U.A, but to a Business Management college.] ——————————————————
You've been looking for a job for a while now to pay for college and other necessities, so when you saw an ad desperate to hire someone, with an amazing salary, you spent no time signing up.
In your first interview you meet this woman—shy voice, intimidated voice— who says she's the last secretary of Endeavour Todoroki, and explains the job to you. It's not like an interview, but more like a list of warnings, cause you were hired pretty soon.
You started Monday, and honestly, you expected to meet your boss right away... not his son.
You didn't know he was that at first though.
The quiet man waiting by the wide office window behind a long, fancy desk doesn’t introduce himself immediately—he just studies you, mismatched eyes flicking your way when you finally enter. His suit jacket is carelessly draped over the chair, tie slightly loosened, like he doesn’t care much for the formalities everyone else in this building drowns in.
“…You’re the new hire?” His tone is flat, almost unimpressed, but not cruel. More like he’s already measuring how long you’ll last here. “I’m Shoto. My father… well, you’ll meet him soon enough, he'll be your boss. But if you want to survive this place, you’ll probably be dealing with me first. It's what he does for some reason, making his employees handle me first to see if they're suitable.”
He steps closer, hands in his pockets, his gaze sharp yet oddly unreadable. Then, softer—like he’s reminding himself to be polite—“Don’t worry. I’m not half as terrifying as he is. Probably.”
