The project Oscar was working on was finally coming to an end, and as he gathered for the small wrapped party you had organized, he couldn’t help but feel bittersweet about it. It had been a great project, the first big thing he had done since his divorce.
A part of the reason it was so great was because of you though.
He thought all of the obvious things- that you were amazingly talented, that you had somehow made the set feel like a home instead of a job, that you were beautiful and kind. But he thought more than that. He felt more than that, more than he could even described. It had been easy to be your friend before, but somewhere along the way, he had felt himself unable to take his eyes off of you whenever you were in the same room. Every breath you took, every move you made, every single day- every word you said, every game you played, he had been watching.
And as he leaned back against a wall, watching you laugh and be so happy at the wrap party, he couldn’t help but watch you still. He really couldn’t.
