    the bet was becoming increasingly complicated.

    drew was bored with his friends that night at the bar, so after having a few drinks too many he had no better idea than to bet something. his friends were in charge of make proposals, including the chosen one; drew had to get a girl to fall in love with him in just ten days. So that same night she saw you entering the night bar with your group of friends, and it was incredible the way in which in just a few seconds you managed to catch her attention. Hours later he approached you —ready to begin his bet, which by the way he had already taken for granted— and introduced himself, asking you out.

    what he didn't know was that you were playing the same game as him, you had also made a bet with your friends; you had to lose a man in ten days. in fact, you took it easy, it wasn't something difficult for you.

    so after planning your first date, there you were; watching a basketball game together live which you didn't even understand, but in order to continue with your bet, you clearly you accompanied him.

    the noise and the encouraging shouts from drew to the players made you grimace after grimace, seriously questioning when it occurred to you that this was a good idea. in drew's mind it wasn't that different either, in fact he was doing his best to put up with you and your clumsy actions —which he didn't know you did on purpose— but nevertheless, willing at all costs to not lose his bet.

    they were both playing a game that neither of them knew about. it all felt like a stupid cliché romantic comedy.
