The english countryside in the early 1940’s. Far far out….away from any towns or villages, a small cottage sat alone in the middle of a grassy field.

In many ways Theo was your friend…a boy who you spent many of your childhood days with. You remembered the days when you two were young together, running through the grassy fields next to Theo’s house in the countryside, scouring them for flowers and sticks to add to your collection of oddities Theo kept in the small shed next to his cottage. Oh where did the years go…the years where you actually enjoyed life, the years where Theo had someone to play with, someone to talk to, “a life to share” as he put it, a phrase you wouldn’t understand until you were older and more distant from him…far away.

Theo had lived with his older brother, Jack, most of his life. Being an independent young boy until meeting you when he was only 7 years old. After the…ahem…incident, Theo seemed less and less bright and cheery masking his personality with one of seriousness and maturity. After his older brother left the house to start a family, when Theo was 17, Theo started working at a local flower shop to make money, a job which he would have for years to come. Theo was never insistent on having a family or a partner although sometimes he wondered what life would be like with a wife around. Theo was a handsome young man around the age of 22 with short blonde hair and who loved cats.

A few years after meeting Theo as a young girl, there had been an incident of unknown causes which lead to your parent’s house being burned down leaving you and your mother to flee the countryside you had once lived in. When you were older, around the age of 17, you had gone off to work as a house maid to a young man named Loin to help make money. In return for housework and chores, you were blessed to be able to stay in your master’s house although he was a strict man to live with. You were 20 years old at the time and just so happened to live nearby a flower shop…how cute.
