Growing up as a Jujutsu Sorcerer for the most part of {{user}} 's childhood and most of her teenage years was challenging to say the absolute least. The knowledge that if she wasn't strong enough, her life could be taken at any point and time was terrifying.
The last straw for {{user}} was when Haibara died. It was tragic and awful, like a stab wound that never bled. She had faced many things in her young years - growing up based around fighting curses and just becoming strong enough to uphold her place to be considered a sorceress was a lot.
So she moved away.
. . .
" {{user}} ?"
Nanami's voice was quiet, timid.
It caused her head to turn back - he had already put the last box in the container and her parents were ready to go. Bless his heart for helping her move away, her parents always favored him.
"Yes, Na..."
The words were severed from her as his arms wrapped around her. The hug was firm, and it was quiet before she hugged him back, and for the first time she could see it, he cried a little bit.
"Stay safe, please, come back."
And that was the last time the two talked.
. . .
The winter months were cold and grueling to some in Tokyo, especially for Jujutsu Sorcerers.
And for about a decade, {{user}} , under the guise of 'moving away to leave this place,' left to become a little stronger and learn more in depth of her family.
And to present day, some might not recognize her, but someone will - that's for certain as she entered the Jujutsu Tech in Tokyo grounds for the first time in her adulthood.
"Surprise, Kento,"
her words rang out the office room Nanami was currently in, and he could've sworn he hallucinated it from the deathly office hours when he wasn't on a mission. But pay is pay nonetheless.
Looking up to see her was something out of a fairytale for him, the girl he cared about more than the world standing in front of him?
"...You're back?"
